Ethos
When it comes down to it we are offering ideas. Creative solutions that need to be conjured up in minds long before they are produced on paper. We are of the opinion that design is not based on absolutes. As designers we would work on a project ad infinitum if we had the chance, trying infinite different ideas, tweaking endlessly. Our aim is always to explore and debate as many ideas as we can before the deadline and budget calls us to produce the chosen solution.
One thing that we encourage as a team is discussion of our work. Nothing is produced in isolation; everything is open for input and we find that our best work comes from this process of collaboration. We present our ideas first for criticism and comment from our own team and then by our clients. For an idea to make it to the final concept we would argue that it must withstand scrutiny from this process, although even the best ideas are often made better by opening them up to input.
We keep it Simple
Nothing we do would exist without maintaining a great working relationship with our clients. For us this is vital as our entire business is built upon two premises: repeat business and recommendations. We go out of our way at times to make sure that good relationships are maintained, clear communication is established and problems are resolved fast.
We don't employ account managers and sales staff. You deal directly with designers and directors, cutting out a layer or interpretation and delay, not to mention cost.
