The Brief


“We think we need to dramatically improve the image of the school from the entrance.”

With this clear brief ringing in our ears we set to work. The school had a strong brand identity in place so we were able to focus on finding the best opportunities to use it.

An initial site visit provided ideas about which areas we should focus on to get the impact that the school wanted to make, with one building in particular that faced the local community in need of some attention.


The Result

The final designs are rich in both musical references and graphic subtlety. Every part of the suite was translated onto one or more wall spaces. With such an understanding client we were able to bring additional ideas into each design, including hiding musical easter eggs, getting creative with referencing the instruments, and finding areas where the animals could interact with the physical surroundings to add some fun.
