Ark Victoria's Victorious Makeover
Having completed several design installations for Ark Victoria and their sister schools, our latest project saw us update their Year 11 Study Centre through the use of Wallboards, Wonderwalls and several other bespoke features.
Let’s take a quick look through some of our previous work within Ark Victoria, and have a squizz at their new and improved Study Centre.
When it comes to setting standards, the exterior facing and signage matters.
This is your opportunity to show the outside world who and what you are, to grab their attention and tell them ‘We’re a school that cares’.
By ensuring their exteriors are well presented, it provides - quite literally - a window into what standards they set for their students.
Making the schools’ values such a prominent feature means that their ethos is loud, proud and upheld at every corner.
We used a combination of our Bookspine Wonderwalls and 3D wall graphics within the Library, giving an overall brighter appearance whilst featuring popular and timeless book titles.
Arguably the coolest feature within this space: The bi-fold doors.
Whilst at first glance this may look like a basic wall, in fact, this is a room partition which we have wrapped in our Bookspine Wonderwall graphic on one side and vinyl wall graphics displaying the school logo and its values on the other.
This sectional wall creates a division between the library and the Year 11 Study Centre, allowing you to separate the two or open things wide up depending on the needs of the day.
One of the other ways we have created definitions within the spaces is by giving each zone its own ‘feel’.
The Library is a bright, colourful space which is light, airy and has a sense of whimsy to it.
On the other hand, the Year 11 Study Centre maintains a more ‘senior’ feel, heavily utilising the navy blue within the branding.
Navy blue is often attributed to trust and stability, and as such us conducive to inspiring responsibility and productivity.
