St Mary’s Outdoor Overhaul
In the courtyard of St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy was recently given a healthy dose of TLC from the team here at TMC thanks to the inclusion of a History Era's Timeline and World Map ‘You Are Here’ Wonderwalls to line the fence.
To line the brick facing of this school block, our History Eras Wonderwall was the perfect addition to not only create a highly engaging and informative focal point, but to bring a dose of brightness to the courtyard.
The fencing received similar attention through a customised ‘You Are Here’ and ‘World Map’ Wonderwall mash-up. It masks sun-faded fence panelling and once again provides a bright and colourful space that encourages students and passers-by to engage with it.
Our World Map Wonderwalls prove to be a highly popular choice for schools and offer a fun and interactive way for children to familiarise themselves with geography, whether it be international, national or local.
From World maps and Historical figures to Woodland creatures and a ‘Mud Kitchen’, we created this fun space by including wallboards to encourage children to engage in explorative play - and who doesn’t love making a good mud-pie?
A one-way vision Window Vinyl was applied to add privacy and depicts a woodland scene to tie into their ‘Mud Kitchen’ concept within the Reading Garden.
And finally, what Reading Garden would be complete without books?
In the corridor the lay behind the Woodland window decal we installed the Bookspine Wonderwall in a range of classic book-titles to frame the doors and liven up the space.
