New school signs boost trust visibility.

For any multi-academy trust, creating a consistent message across all schools is extremely important. At The Media Collective, we work with trusts and MACs to develop designs that can do just this. Plus, with our in-house production and installation teams, we offer the complete solution for signs and graphics.

Following a tender process, we were commissioned by the Arthur Terry Learning Partnership (ATLP) to upgrade the external approach to each of their schools, which, at the time of writing numbered sixteen.

The brief was to make the trust more visible for visitors without the ATLP brand overpowering or conflicting with each individual school brand. After creating a comprehensive plan of which signs needed to be included in the redesign we created a family of designs that would cater for different sign shapes without compromising the impact of the ATLP presence.

Careful management and clear communication were needed to make sure that the right design, message and style of sign was installed in each of the more than 100 locations across all of the school buildings in the portfolio.

The result saw every site receiving their upgrade within a two week period, on time and not a penny over budget. School heads were involved in the design and approval process and our production team worked with the facilities managers on the ground to ensure a seamless installation. The trust was delighted with the visual impact, with every school now clearly identifying as part of the same family.
